Day wise itinerary

Day 1 Arrive Tbilisi

Arrive at Tbilisi International Airport.  Meet and greet by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure.

Overnight in Tiblisi

 

Day 2 Tbilisi City Tour

Breakfast will be served at hotel. Start your Tiblisi tour by Visiting Jvari Monastery, the  ancient temple from 6^th Century AD built on top of a mountain.

Next , proceed to Mtskheta, ancient capital of Georgia which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In this oldest town is located many ancient historical monuments as Pompey Bridge a stone bridge over the Kura River, Bebris Castle of 1st century and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral , one of the most sacred place where Christ’s robe is said to be buried.

Later drop your vehicle and continue visiting  the following places by foot. Visit Various  sulphur pools , See the Famous  Bridge of Love , the Waterfall ,  view the Meidan Bazar Tunnel and later the  Gorgasali Monument . Further walk to the Tbilisi Fortress, See the  Mother of Georgia monument, Visit Rike Park and the – Bridge of Peace and Shardeni Street.

Spend some time at other prominent tourist places like Rustaveli avenue, Freedom square, etc. Later visit Sameba Cathedral, Sameba is also called the symbol of new Georgia and also the highest Church in Georgia with a height of 101metre.

Proceed to Mount Mtatsminda and visit the Mtatsminda Park overlooking the beautiful Tbilisi.

Overnight at hotel in Tbilisi

 

Day 3  Ananuri Castle,  Guduari, Kazbegi Tour            

Breakfast at the hotel. Later travel along the Georgian Military road to Kazbegi

Stop at  Zhinvali an artificial water reservoir located on the river Aragvi.  Next Visit Ananuri Castle, one of Georgia’s most visited tourist places. The fortress with a pair

of churches and an 16th-century defensive tower inside  located on the shores of the

Zhinvali Reservoir.   Spend some time at Ananuri Castle.

Later proceed to Gudauri ski resort in Georgia which is at an  altitude of 2200m above the sea level.  Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Devil’s Valley and Caucus mountains from Gudauari Monument or Guduari Panorama which is the Monument built based on  Russian Georgian Friendship.

Proceed to   Stepantsminda or commonly known as Kazbegi ,  a  small town near Russian-Georgian border with wonderful view to Mt Kazbegi , one the highest

mountain of Georgia standing at  5047 meters above sea level.

Evening return to Tbilisi. Overnight at hotel in Tbilisi.

 

DAY 4

After Breakfast , we will start our day by visiting Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino Kakheti  located to the eastern part of Georgia, and region of wine. Taste the unique Georgian wines and get acquainted with the secrets of wine making today. Your first stop will be in “Bodbe Monastery” and see the Church of St. George and beautiful view of Alazani Valley.   Later visit Kakheti ( City of Love ) , the beautiful city on Sighnaghi hill.  Cherish the 18^th and 19^th century architecture along with picturesque  view of the Alazani valley .

Further proceed to visit one of the wine factory in Kvareli town . See the  Kvareli Castle which history dates back to 1533 when Levan – the king of Kakheti established a marani (wine cellar)  You will  closely watch  the process of wine making and get yourself opportunity to have wine tasting.

Travel to the Gombori,  Pass through  Gombori road which is spectacular any time of year.  Relish yourself in the  magnificent view of Caucus mountains, beautiful villages, mesmerizing Alazani valley with picture perfect forests  and meadows as you pass through Gombori Road.

Overnight stay at hotel in Tiblisi

 

Day 5  Transfer to Airport.

Breakfast at hotel. Later check out and transfer to airport for your flight back home
